PJSC Energomashspetsstal continues to manufacture blanks for the Kudankulam NPP located in India. In early July, EMSS accepted a new batch of blanks for the station's power units under construction.
Acceptance of products for the Kudankulam NPP was carried out by representatives of the Indian Atomic Energy Corporation (ICAEL) at the site of PJSC Energomashspetsstal.
In the presence of IKAEL inspectors and other specialists of the nuclear industry, 9 blanks were successfully tested for the steam generator and the reactor vessel of Units V and VI of the Kudankulam NPP.
Based on the results of the tests and inspections, the customer's representative was finally handed over and prepared for shipment of the bottom for the PGW, the shell and the allowance for the reactor vessel, intermediate control of three bottoms and shells for the PGW was performed.
Delivery of items accepted by the inspector is scheduled for the end of this month. All parameters and characteristics of the products correspond to the technical requirements of the customer.
