PJSC Energomashspetsstal (EMSS, Kramatorsk, Donetsk region) has manufactured and delivered to the customer a new batch of blanks for the Kudankulam nuclear power plant (NPP) located in India. Acceptance of a new batch of products for the power units under construction took place from 12 to 16 July.
Acceptance of products for the Kudankulam NPP was carried out by the inspector of the Indian Atomic Energy Corporation (ICAEL) Mr. Akkala Ramu.
In the presence of the IKAEL inspector and other specialists of the nuclear industry, 8 blanks were successfully tested for the steam generator and the reactor vessel of Units V and VI of the Kudankulam NPP.
Based on the results of the tests and inspections, the customer's representative was finally handed over and prepared for shipment the bottom for the PGW, the shell of the nozzle zone and the allowance for the reactor vessel, intermediate control of the flange, bottom and side shells for the PGV was performed.
Shipment of items accepted by the inspector is scheduled for the end of this month. All parameters and characteristics of products correspond to the technical requirements of the customer.
