Novokramatorsk Machine-Building Plant (NKMZ) supplied a batch of large-diameter steel pipes for the construction of the Turkish nuclear power plant (NPP) Akkuyu, including 26 pipes with a diameter of 711 mm and 20 with a diameter of 813 mm. Some of them have already been accepted by the customer.
The manufacturing technology of this nomenclature at NKMZ was approved by the head metallurgical organization. High requirements are imposed on the quality of parts of the power equipment of nuclear power plants. Their manufacture takes place under the special control of absolutely all technological redistributions. Each detail is accompanied by an individual quality plan, which reflects certificates for each technological conversion.
The next batch of 116 pipes and tees is currently under construction. They will begin shipping in August.
