The first auction for the sale of non-core assets of Ukrzaliznytsia will be held in the electronic system Prozorro. The sale is already on September 27.
For the first time in history, a railway company is putting up for auction buildings that, in its opinion, are not core to the railway business.
Five lots will be the first to go under the hammer: non-residential premises of Ukrzaliznytsia, shops and a distillery.
From the sale of the first batch of non-core assets, Ukrainian railroad workers plan to receive at least 13 million hryvnia. In total, by the end of the year, the company plans to receive at least half a billion hryvnia from the sale of non-core assets.
On October 5, Ukrzaliznytsia plans to start selling 4 more lots, which includes two pharmacy premises, a basement, non-residential premises and a store.
