PAO Severstal, one of the world's largest vertically integrated steel and mining companies, in 9 months of 2021 purchased goods and services from enterprises of the Vologda Region for a total amount of more than 24.2 billion rubles, which is 3.4 billion rubles more than similar period of last year.
According to Evgeny Vinogradov, General Director of the Severstal-Russian Steel Division and resource assets, the main growth in purchases is associated with the ongoing implementation of a large investment program at CherMK. -cooperations in the region.
Of the total amount of services for the repair of construction from the enterprises of the Vologda region, about 8 billion rubles were purchased. The total number of small and medium-sized businesses in the Vologda Oblast cooperating with the company has also grown - today there are more than 700 of them.
The level of the annual investment program for 2021 is comparable to the level of the previous year. The company continues to develop production sites and, in particular, the Cherepovets Metallurgical Plant.
