Cable Alliance Holding (unites the cable assets of UMMC) donated about 1 kilometer of high fire safety electric cable to the Yekaterinburg orphanage (Lyapustina, 4) as part of charity.
The main part of the products was manufactured at plant "Uralkabel", part of the cable for a social institution was produced by the plant "Sibkabel" (Tomsk).
The cable will be used for the internal repair of premises, which are home to 152 children aged 4 to 18 years.
“The area of our boarding school buildings is about 10 thousand square meters. The five-conductor cable will replace the ventilation system wiring in a three-story building built in the mid-1970s. There is a medical department, a rehabilitation center, games and sleeping rooms. The three-core cable is designed to illuminate the gazebo where we hold various parties for children. Also, the cable will be required for additional sockets in the rooms, "- said the deputy director of the boarding school Viktor Balukov.
The products supplied have high fire safety and low toxicity of combustion products. “Fireproof cables are used where safety of people and uninterrupted operation of equipment are important: in social institutions, at nuclear power plants, in the metro, at airports, in hospitals, in shopping centers, etc. According to the results of laboratory studies, such products do not emit corrosive black smoke into the air during combustion, "said Evgeny Sukhodoev, director of Uralkabel.
