Priorities for the development of public utilities in the business program of the UtiliCon 2025 exhibition

From November 11 to November 14, 2025, the second International Exhibition UtiliCon, the main platform for professionals of housing and communal services and the construction complex, will be held at the Crocus Expo IEC as part of the combined MEGAPOLIS EXPO project.

The center of attraction for the participants and visitors of the exhibition and the generation of ideas for the development of the industry will be a rich business program organized with the participation and support of the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation. More than 100 speakers, including representatives of the Russian Ministry of Construction, heads of management and construction companies, developers and technical directors of large holdings from the regions of Russia and CIS countries, landscaping and renovation specialists, as well as representatives of government agencies, will discuss solutions to current industry problems and identify areas for the development of the municipal and construction industries.

The UtiliCon business program is based on practical cases and solutions that are already being implemented in housing and communal services and construction. The main focus is on reducing network failures through technologies for monitoring worn-out communications, predictive repairs and modern materials for them, optimizing capital repairs with an emphasis on reducing work time, transparent financing schemes, tariff regulation, including finding a balance between the cost of services and the solvency of the population, methods of working with debtors and calculating standards, as well as the practical use of digital tools.

Also on the agenda is a dialogue between business and the government in order to find ways to implement federal programs that are part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life" and directly affect the prospects for the development of public utilities and construction – "Creating a comfortable urban environment", "Infrastructure development in populated areas", "Modernization of municipal infrastructure". "Topical issues, goals and objectives of the industry will be discussed here. We will combine the requests of market participants with the responses of the regulator," says Dmitry Fedotov, Program Director of MEGAPOLIS EXPO.

The program will comprehensively cover critical aspects of urban environment development: urban planning and territorial development strategies, improving the efficiency of housing and communal services, and dialogue on government regulation.
