The enterprises of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) held career guidance events within the framework of the Single Open Day of the federal project "Professionalism". About 2 thousand schoolchildren and their parents took part in familiarization meetings with representatives of the factories.
The partner colleges of TMK enterprises have become platforms for the presentation of educational clusters created during the implementation of Professionalism. Master classes on sought-after specialties in metallurgy were also held for future applicants, classrooms and equipped modern laboratories were demonstrated.
Excursions to TMK's production sites were also organized for the guests of the Single Open Day, where they showed modern equipment and working conditions, talked about the mentoring system and possible career paths.
"Holding a Single open day allows future specialists to learn professions relevant to the industry and the company, familiarize themselves with training programs and see future jobs. For TMK, participation in such events provides an opportunity to establish effective interaction with potential employees at an early stage, introduce them to the corporate culture and, thus, simplify adaptation in the future," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management.
The federal project "Professionalism" was launched in 2022. Its task is to comprehensively change the system of secondary vocational education, as well as to widely disseminate the industry model of personnel training in high—demand working professions. TMK's project partners include the company's main enterprises in five regions of the country. The work within the framework of the project is supervised by the TMK2U Corporate University.
