The first 355 students became graduates of "Profesionality" with the support of TMK

The first 355 students from the Volga region, Orenburg region and the Urals have successfully completed their studies within the framework of the Professionalism project, which since 2022 has included enterprises of the Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK). This year's graduates can continue working at the Volzhsky Pipe (VTZ), Orsk Machine-building (OMZ), Seversky Pipe (STZ) plants and at TMK Techservice.

112 students graduated from the Volga Polytechnic Technical College (VPT), 178 from the V. I. Nazarov Field Multidisciplinary Technical College (V. I. Nazarov Moscow State Technical University), and 65 more from the A.

I. Stetsenko Orsk Technical College (OTT). The students completed their studies in the specialties "Installation", "Technical equipment and repair of industrial equipment", "Metallurgy of ferrous metals", "Metalworking", "Technology of mechanical engineering", "Technical operation and maintenance of electrical and electromechanical equipment" and other areas preparation.

Festive events were organized for graduates in Volzhsky and Polevsky, during which a graduation ceremony, a performance by KVN factory teams and entertainment contests took place. The ambassadors of the Professionalism project, students who interacted with its potential participants and a wider audience to increase interest in the initiative, were awarded separate certificates of appreciation.

The graduates were also told about career opportunities at TMK, training and development programs for young employees, including educational courses at TMK2U Corporate University, the corporate championship of working professions "Games of Masters", the competition of innovative initiatives — the Youth Scientific and Practical Conference — and the corporate forum "Horizons".

The Professionalism project allows us to train and hire specialists who have the necessary knowledge and skills to solve current production tasks, as well as are integrated into the corporate culture. Most of the graduates completed internships at TMK's production sites as part of the educational process, and targeted contracts were signed with them. Many students have already started building careers in their chosen fields, combining work with education. We are confident that the graduates of the project will perform well in the workplace and make a significant contribution to the development of our plants," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management and Director of TMK2U Corporate University.

The fundamental task of the federal project "Professionalism" is a comprehensive change in the system of secondary vocational education, as well as the widespread use of the industry model of personnel training in high—demand areas.
