Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) took part in the XI All-Russian Forum "National Qualifications System of Russia", held in St. Petersburg. During the session "Human Capital as a driver of the Development of the Russian Economy", Elena Zolototina, Deputy Director General for Human Resources Management and Director of TMK2U Corporate University, shared her experience in developing and applying professional standards in the company.
In her speech, Elena Zolototina emphasized that the management of qualifications and competencies through the mechanism of professional standards ensures maximum flexibility in the face of staff shortages and the need for rapid retraining. This approach allows combining different work functions within the same position, taking into account the real needs of the enterprise and creating modular training programs for mastering a wide range of competencies. This, as well as the absence of a direct link to the wage system based on the model of the discharge system, allows, if necessary, to rotate employees as soon as possible.
"TMK, as an advanced high-tech company, strives to ensure comfortable working conditions and creates opportunities for professional development of employees. Modern production processes require the contiguity of functions for almost all specialists, and a more flexible model of professional standards makes it possible to achieve the multi-functionality of employees with an optimal workload," said Elena Pozolotina.
Earlier at the forum, TMK and the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications (NARK) signed a cooperation agreement, under which the parties will create an expert HR community, develop digital solutions and improve educational programs to strengthen human resources.
The XI All-Russian Forum "National Qualifications System of Russia" is organized by NARC and is held within the framework of the XXVIII International Forum-Exhibition "Russian Industrialist". The event is dedicated to building effective cooperation between the state, business and civil society in the framework of the development of the employment market and the training of highly qualified personnel. The forum is attended by representatives of federal and regional executive authorities, universities, educational institutions of secondary vocational education, industrial enterprises, professional qualifications councils, trade unions and labor market experts.
