TMK has planted more than 40 thousand seedlings in the regions of its presence as part of a corporate eco-campaign.

The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) held an action "TMK Green Initiative", aimed at greening territories and restoring forests in the regions of its presence. In the Volgograd, Rostov, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk regions, as well as in Moscow, the company's employees planted more than 40 thousand trees and shrubs. The project was operated by the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of the Forest".

Employees of the Volga Pipe Plant (VTZ), with the participation of TMK employees and the veterans Council of the enterprise, planted acacias on the territory of the Sredneakhtubinsky forestry district of the Volgograd region, linden trees and pines on green areas near the factory workshops. In total, more than 5,000 seedlings were planted by the Volga residents as part of the campaign. About 120 seedlings of coniferous shrubs, junipers and pines have landscaped the territory of the Taganrog Metallurgical Plant (Tagmet), the adjacent Dzerzhinsky Street and the entrance alley of the Taganrog Technical College of Mechanical Engineering and Metallurgy "Tagmet". An alley of weeping willows also appeared on the Chekhov Embankment of Taganrog.

In the territory of the Sysert forestry of the Sverdlovsk region, employees of Pervouralsky Novotrubny (PNTZ), Seversky (STZ) and Sinarsky (SinTZ) pipe plants planted more than 30 thousand pines. Also in Pervouralsk, PNTZ employees planted 29 lime saplings on one of the central streets, and 20 fir trees on the territory of the enterprise. Factory workers planted 35 trees on the territory of Polevskoye on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the primary trade union organization.

5,000 pine seedlings were replaced at the site of a burnt forest in the Chelyabinsk region with the assistance of employees of the Chelyabinsk Pipe Rolling Plant (ChelPipe) with the participation of TMK employees, representatives of the volunteer movement and the veterans Council of the enterprise. The alley planted last year with 20 seedlings of small-leaved linden was continued on the territory of the enterprise itself.

Employees of the company's Moscow office also took part in the campaign, planting together with the "Forest Volunteers" about 30 bushes of spiraea, willow, rowan and barberry in the green areas near the Scientific and Technical Center (STC) TMK.

"TMK, as a socially responsible company, strives for the integrated development of the regions where it operates, including the conservation of environmental biodiversity and the maintenance of a favorable environmental environment.
