The Pipe Metallurgical Company (TMK) took part in the Single Open Day of the federal project "Professionalism" — more than 2 thousand high school students and their parents participated in events at the factories and sites of partner colleges.
TMK enterprises in the Urals, the Volga region, and Southern Russia organized familiarization meetings with factory representatives, excursions to production facilities, presentations of educational programs and opportunities at partner colleges, professional trials, psychological testing, and other events.
Within the framework of the Professionalism project, students receive sought-after working professions according to a shortened program. Curricula are developed by partner colleges with the involvement of specialized specialists from TMK enterprises. The training is focused on practical training, therefore, with the assistance of the company, colleges and technical schools have installed educational equipment as close as possible to the factory. During their studies, students complete internships at TMK enterprises, can sign a target agreement and receive a scholarship.
"It is important for us to provide high school students in all regions of TMK's presence with the opportunity to attend career guidance events and get acquainted with sought-after specialties. Interest in "Professionalism" is growing every year. In 2025, the first 355 graduates received diplomas with the support of TMK and more than 900 first-year students began their studies. For many of them, it was the open days that became the starting point of their future careers and helped them make an informed choice of further educational and professional paths," said Elena Pozolotina, TMK's Deputy General Director for Personnel Management.
The federal project "Professionalism" has been implemented since 2022. Its task is to comprehensively change the system of secondary vocational education, as well as to widely disseminate the industry model of personnel training in high—demand working professions. TMK's project partners include the company's main enterprises, and the TMK2U Corporate University oversees the project.
The sites of TMK and the partner colleges of the "Professionalitet" project received more than 2 thousand visitors.
