this week the plant had approximately 40 high school students. The children visited the new section of multi-strand ropes BMK, saw twist ropes of large diameters for mining equipment. This new production was launched in December 2018 with the support of the Fund development industry of the Russian Federation. With modern equipment, the plant manufactures the ropes with diameter up to 90 mm, for durability, they are covered with polymer. High school students also showed a variety of hardware products of BMK: wire, rebar, steel rope.
"a tour of the production causes in children a genuine interest, they see as their eyes from a metal billet is finished products, e.g. steel ropes. It fascinates them, and perhaps because of this tour, some of them will associate their professional future with metallurgy," said HR Director of JSC "BMK" Oleg Tertychnyi.
During the first 11 months of this year on BMC, there were 14 travelers, participated by more than 270 Beloretskij students.
