Impulse, synergetics and two types of cooling: ESAB launches a new version of the semi-automatic welding machine
The Central Asian industrial sector is actively modernizing and generating steady demand for modern equipment for the mining, oil and gas, and construction industries. ESAB, one of the world leaders in this field, has introduced an updated version of the Rustler EM 350Cw Syn Pulse welding machine. Its key difference from previous models is the presence of a pulse mode, which allows to improve the quality of work with different types of steel and alloys. The technology has already been presented to the professional community and has been highly appreciated by welding specialists.
Improving reliability and quality
The new Rustler EM 350Cw Syn Pulse is equipped with a MIG/MAG pulse mode for working with aluminum alloys, carbon, stainless and high-alloy steel. Pulse welding significantly improves the quality and stability of working with materials. The mode combines low power consumption with high efficiency, it allows for more precise control of metal transfer and, most importantly, to improve the quality of the seam. The new device is already available in two versions.: with a liquid cooling system and an air cooling system.
The liquid cooling system is suitable for stationary operation in industrial enterprises, service and repair departments, metalwork plants and other industries. It provides high power operation with fairly compact dimensions. This cooling system removes heat from the burner more efficiently than traditional air cooling and increases the operating cycle.
The machine with an air cooling system is designed for a shorter cycle, while it is more mobile, compact and suitable for on-site installation or welding in open areas.
Synergy and momentum — for a stable result
The synergetic control system allows both professionals and beginners to work effectively with the device. It is enough for the operator to set the thickness of the material, and the machine will automatically select the optimal welding parameters. This reduces the dependence of the seam quality on the welder's qualifications and helps to significantly speed up the setup.
The ergonomics of the device is also thought out to the smallest detail: the viewing window and the illumination of the compartment simplify wire replacement and maintenance of the feeding mechanism. A special box is installed for consumables, and the reliable 4-roller Precidrive mechanism ensures stable wire supply.
