Today the city laid the first stone in the Foundation of the Ice arena, the construction of which is scheduled for completion in 2020. Another training centre with artificial ice will be built in the framework of the Agreement between the Government of the Sverdlovsk region and the Ural mountain-metallurgical company on public-private partnership in the development of hockey infrastructure in the region. The facility will be built on the co-financing from municipal and regional budgets with the support UGMK.
the event was attended by Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuyvashev, General Director of UMMC Andrey Kozitsyn, the head of Sysertsky district Dmitry Neskovski. The ceremony was attended by pupils of the local hockey club "Rus" training which today take place in SK "Kurganovo", located 63 km from syserti.
"We have all become a step closer to ensuring that as many people as possible to inspire a healthy lifestyle. This is a landmark event for all sports fans. I rejoice with you guys, because the new conditions will further allow you to measure forces not only with peers from my city district, but also to speak at the regional championship. In a year I expect to throw the puck not in the pit, and the gates!", - said the Governor of Sverdlovsk region Evgeny Kuivashev.

the total area of the ice arena will be about 4.8 thousand sq. m. the building will be located indoor ice rink with bleachers for 250 spectators, a sports hall, changing rooms and showers, and a block of administrative-household premises. The new sports facility will allow local residents to systematically engage in such sports as hockey, figure skating, rhythmic gymnastics, basketball, volleyball.
Earlier in the framework of the Agreement between the Government of the Sverdlovsk region and the Ural mountain-metallurgical company was built and put into operation the ice hockey arena in Less, Yekaterinburg, Kirovgrad, Revda, Verkhnyaya Pyshma (big and small), Kushva and krasnoural'sk. In the near future, artificial ice will appear Dry Logo.
