Environmental youth competition "EKO-Projector" is supported by the company for two years. Every year, young people send to the competition Commission environmental projects. The Commission selects the most relevant and viable. After that, the winners of the allocated grants for the embodiment of the idea that in 2018, there were 27, in 2019 – 28.
a Student of South Ural state humanitarian pedagogical University Svetlana Bodrova received a grant for a project on training sessions-workshops with the young searchers. They enthusiast teaches the correct and safe behaviour during a search as well as careful attitude of the search engine to the environment. Svetlana tells how to camp safely build a fire, a trash can and should be burned at the place, and which necessarily need to take it with you after the expedition and disposed of in designated areas. Explains that once in place work the unit, removed the remains of soldiers and military artifacts, it must be from the point of view of ecology the same as it was before the expedition. During the year, the girl managed to hold 23 such classes.
"I got the idea to combine in the training of future fighters of search groups patriotism and love of history with a responsible attitude towards the environment. We care not only about historical justice and memory, but also about the future, preserving nature. Glad my idea received the support, in particular the grant of "Mechel". Sure that the search engines will consider the information received and will have environmental consciousness not only in the course of searching expeditions, but also throughout life", – says Svetlana Bodrova.
