The unit will be installed at the gas treatment facilities of the copper-smelting shop at the main site in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.
One of the most complex structural elements are tube plates (which look like a metal plate with holes), which require special stamping equipment. Their manufacture required the work of a large number of specialists.
According to the director of the branch, Tagir Khafizov, the experience gained for the manufacture of similar products will be used at other enterprises of UMMC.
The entire construction of the FRIR consists of a large number parts - 1822 pcs. The total weight is 32 tons 970 kg. It took 5269 hours to make. The filter will be delivered to the copper smelting shop disassembled, during the overhaul of the anode furnace it will be assembled on site and, as a result, a multi-meter structure will be obtained.
Recall that JSC Uralelectromed in 2016 implemented a project to modernize gas cleaning facilities workshop. Additional equipment allows you to capture more dust and increase the recovery of copper from it into production products. The commissioning of gas cleaning units completely eliminated the problem of atmospheric air pollution by copper-smelting production waste. The degree of purification of waste gases is 99.8%.
