GHH Group, a provider of integrated solutions in the mining and tunnel industries, has announced the entry into the Russian market of the MK-45 mine dump truck with a load capacity of 45 tons and a body volume from 19 m3 to 24 m3.
With impressive dimensions-10833x3060x2775 mm-the dump truck has the smallest turning radius in its class: the internal is 4600 mm, and the external is 8800 mm. The 68° discharge angle allows the material not to get stuck in the body, so the discharge time is 15 seconds. The optimal power-to-weight ratio allows you to quickly transport rock on steep slopes and incline ramps.
Depending on the customer's requirements, the dump truck can be equipped with a choice of water-cooled diesel engines of the Tier 3, Tier 4f, Stage V classes from Volvo or Mercedes-Benz. Maximum available power – 460 kW / 1600 min, gas tank capacity-750 l. The maximum speed of the MK-45 is 37.5 km/h. The maximum slope covered is 20%.
The dump truck is certified according to ROPS/FOPS standards. The swinging hinge joint and suspension system of the front axle create optimal traction and provide comfortable handling.
The cabin is equipped with a seat with air suspension, climate control and an inclinometer. To ensure the safety of the operator, there are no high-pressure hoses inside the cab, and thanks to the use of absorbent materials, the noise level is reduced. At the same time, the robust frame and construction of the new dump truck ensure low operating costs.
"The new dump truck with increased load capacity is a response to the wishes of our customers around the world. It should be a large, but at the same time, maneuverable machine that can quickly and easily transport a large volume of rock. When developing the MK-45 design, we took into account the safety and ergonomics of the cab, as well as the overall maintainability of the dump truck and its ease of operation. We are confident that Russian companies will be able to evaluate the machine value, as they have already managed to prove itself well in some of the mines of Russia", – said Dmitry Zhukov, Executive Director of "XXG Fahrzeuge".
