In October, the underground mine of Nova Zinc LLP (a subsidiary of the Chelyabinsk zinc plant, an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) fulfilled the production plan for 2020 - 450,000 tons of ore ahead of schedule.

As part of the program, the team carried out a colossal amount of work to diagnose and identify redistributions restraining the increase in enterprise productivity. As a result, the specialists developed and implemented organizational and technical measures that allowed to increase the rate of ore extraction by 30 percent in the short term. The key managers of the enterprise, together with the engineers of the development department of Nova Zinc LLP, have developed an ambitious program aimed at increasing the rate of ore production at the underground mine to 620 thousand tons per year.
