The 26th International Industrial Exhibition "Metal-Expo '2020 ", which took place in Moscow from November 10 to 13, became effective for OJSC “BMZ” - the management company of the “BMK” holding. As a result, the company received several industry awards, and also reached agreements with consumers for the supply of metal products in the first quarter of 2021.
Traditionally, the Russian market plays an important role in the sales structure of BMZ. According to the operational data of work for January-October 2020, more than 245 thousand tons of metal products were sold here, which is about 15% of the total export of the plant. This year, the enterprise has shipped 11 types of metal products to the Russian Federation. The key positions are occupied by fittings, pipes, bronze wire and steel cord. Rebar shipments, by the way, in physical terms increased by more than a quarter compared to the same period in 2019.
& bsp; & bsp; The meetings and negotiations held within the framework of the "Metal-Expo '2020 " indicate the interest of Russian consumers in continuing cooperation with BMZ in 2021. We are talking about the sale of various types of rolled products, pipes and products of steel wire shops.
& bsp; & bsp; As already noted, along with the agreements on the supply of products, the exhibition brought the plant several industry awards. Thus, the silver medal of the competition for publications of metallurgical companies and research organizations was awarded to the English version of the reference book-atlas “Defects of steel billets and metal products” developed by BMZ employees. Laureate of the competition “The best corporate media in the metallurgical industry of Russia and the CIS countries & dash; 2020 ”, the factory newspaper“ Metallurg ”was recognized: its editorial staff was awarded the corresponding cup and diploma.
& bsp; & bsp; The organizers and participants of "Metal-Expo '2020 " highly appreciated the stand of the Belarusian Metallurgical Plant, which was decorated using the creative works of the artist Leonid Velichko, who is a BMZ labor veteran. According to the results of the exhibition, the plant was awarded the Cup “For the Best Exposition” and the Diploma “For the highly professional organization of promoting products and services.
& bsp; & bsp; The "Metal-Expo" "exhibition is a traditional platform that brings together suppliers and consumers of metal products from various countries. In 2020, the forum brought together 300 companies from the metallurgical sector and related industries; about 1,000 specialists worked at the stands. From 10 to 13 November the exhibition was attended by about 7 thousand people.
