MMK took part in the Global CIO online conference

At the Global CIO round table “IT in metallurgy. New Challenges ”was attended by IT specialists from major industrial holdings of metallurgy and metalworking of the Russian Federation - MMK, NLMK, Severstal, OMK, Pipe Metallurgical Company and others. In his report, Mikhail Verisov spoke about the progress of RPA software robotization at PJSC MMK. According to him, robotization is not the future, but the present of industrial production. At the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, the RPA Competence Center began work in 2018. Currently, RPA software robots in PJSC MMK Group are an integral part of the execution of many business processes. Robots are digital assistants for company employees that enable people to do their jobs more efficiently. Digitalization plans include the development of areas of application of RPA technology, its scaling and further integration of software robots with artificial intelligence technologies, data analysis and other promising areas of Industry 4.0. The conference participants discussed new approaches in the field of IT technologies and new opportunities in the automation of business processes in the metallurgical industry.
