On June 14-16, OJSC “BMZ, the management company of the holding“ BMK ”, will hold the VIII youth tourist meeting. Taking into account the wide geography of the participants and the richness of the program, for the first time it will be held in the format of a festival of culture and sports called "Svarog".
The large-scale event will bring together more than 500 people at the recreation center "Dneprovskie Zori", who will represent the holding " Belarusian Metallurgical Company ”and other enterprises of Belarus and the Russian Federation. 17 teams will compete for the main cup of the Svarog-2019 festival.
Traditionally, the event will be held in a thematic vein. This year each team will represent one of the BMZ partner countries. The task for the participants is to familiarize their colleagues at the festival with the culture and traditions of the chosen country as much as possible through the design of their camp and creative competitions.
In total, the Svarog program provides for 14 different types of competitions. These are traditional tourist competitions ("Bivouac", "Tourist route", "Hiking dish") and sports - volleyball and tug of war. Participants are also waiting for such rather original contests as "Fight for a man", "Pushing a log", "Sleight of hand" (competition in catching chicken eggs). It will not do without creativity. For example, one of the most colorful and spectacular is the competition-presentation of the teams "Body Art" (as it was last year).
At the end of each competition, the jury will award points to the teams, the sum of which will be determined the winners of the festival, as well as the holders of such special awards as the "Sports Cup", "Culture Cup" and "Tourism Cup".
As the organizers of the festival note, its holding helps to establish and strengthen friendly ties between young workers of industrial enterprises that facilitate the exchange of experience and cooperation in various fields of activity.
