PJSC Severstal has supported the projects of the Cherepovets Museum Association "aimed at supporting culture in Cherepovets and the development of cultural tourism in the city.

On December 24, a presentation of a new city quest route" Che1777: Steel Element "will take place. created by the specialists of the Museum's Tourist Information Center. The project is being implemented within the framework of the Museums of the Russian North grant program by Severstal at the expense of a special grant from TUI Russia (part of Severgroup). The route unites more than 60 points on the city map: participants are invited to visit museums and city attractions and complete tasks related to industrial and cultural themes, the history of metallurgical production and the development of a modern industrial city.

On December 25, in the Exhibition Hall of the Museum Association, after renovation, a renewed space for classes of the Resource Center for Creative Development of Children and Adolescents will open. The resource center was opened in 2018 with the support of the company in partnership with the State Russian Museum. For 2 years, the center worked at the Art Museum, implemented museum educational projects on the basis of one audience. In July of this year, two-structural divisions of the museum association - the Exhibition Hall and the Resource Center - merged.

On December 29, on the eve of the new year, two notable points will appear on the festive map of the city at once - in the Galskikh Estate and in the courtyard of the Museum of Archeology. light figures created in accordance with the theme and aesthetics of museums. So in the courtyard of the Museum of Archeology, installations in the form of a waterfall and petroglyphs will be installed. In the Galskikh Estate, museum themes will be supported by volumetric light installations "Christmas Nativity Scene" and "Ladies and Cavaliers at the Ball". Traditional nativity scenes and Christmas balls are some of the most attended events during the New Year holidays.

Two years ago, with the support of Severstal, a New Year's playground was opened in the Estate. The manor house and the territory of the museum were decorated with festive illumination, there were tracks for riding on Finnish sledges, wooden slides and photo zones. This year, light installations will also add New Year's mood to the place loved by Cherepovites.
