Expert Council of the award organizer, which includes financial sector professionals, as well as heads of large Russian banks and corporations , noted the MMK Financial Resources Department for the successfully implemented project to conduct the first in the Russian financial market a double combination of factoring and dynamic discounting transactions on the KPMG Supply Chain Finance Platform.
“This is a unique project for the market, which was developed by our team in close cooperation with KPMG. Thanks to its implementation, transactions on payments to suppliers earlier than the contractual date of deferred payment can now be carried out on the KPMG dynamic discounting platform not only at the expense of MMK's free cash, but also by attracting funds from factor banks. The use of such a tool makes it more accessible to receive early financing for MMK's suppliers, ensuring that the optimal level of working capital is maintained, ”said Maria Nikulina, Head of the Financial Resources Department of PJSC MMK.
The award was organized by the Association of Corporate Treasurers , the first professional community of corporate treasurers in Russia. The mission of the Association is to work on the creation of uniform high standards in the field of the functioning of the treasury departments of Russian companies and to facilitate communication and exchange of experience between professionals in this area.
