Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk Region)
The copper capital of the Urals is preparing to welcome the New Year 2021 with a positive mood and get bright festive emotions. The first New Year's installation appeared in the city center on Uspensky Avenue: the Ferris wheel turned into a luminous clock with a diameter of about 30 meters. The hands of the dial point to five minutes to twelve, like in the movie Carnival Night, reminding the townspeople that only a few days are left before the chimes.
An ice town “Fairy forest” was opened in the UMMC park yesterday. In the center of the ice kingdom, a 32-meter "copper" tree has grown, decorated with a million LEDs. It symbolically emphasizes the patented brand of Verkhnyaya Pyshma - the Copper Capital of the Urals. Thanks to the technical possibilities of illumination, graphic elements appear on the Christmas tree - the logos of UMMC and Uralelectromed JSC, New Year's characters, winter patterns, etc. Next to the spruce are the figures of Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden, as well as various photo zones: "Bunnies with a gift", "Squirrels with toys", "Labyrinth of spruce", "Throne of Santa Claus". For the smallest visitors, playgrounds "Polyanka" and "Berloga" are prepared. In the "Fairy Forest" you can ride slides and ice sledges with reindeer, share bright selfies.
Due to restrictive measures in connection with the coronavirus pandemic, the festive opening of the ice town did not take place. However, according to tradition, the Christmas tree was lit up with volleys of festive fireworks. It is worth noting that all ice art objects and figures are arranged taking into account sanitary rules so that visiting the town is as safe as possible for residents and guests of the city.
Another New Year's Eve novelty will be a festively decorated car with Ded Moroz and Snegurochka, which will pass through the territories of Uralelectromed JSC presence: on December 30 - in the village of Verkh-Neyvinsky, where the branch “Production of non-ferrous metal alloys”, and in the city of Kirovgrad, where the branch “Production of polymetals” operates, on December 31 - in Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The machine is equipped with sound-amplifying equipment for broadcasting New Year's songs.
Note that all events will be held in compliance with the necessary sanitary and epidemiological requirements.
