In Yekaterinburg, the construction of the Izumrudny Bor residential area, the most ambitious project of the UGMK-Zastroyshchik development company, continues. Currently, the company is actively developing the second stage of the district - a new 22-storey building with a total area of 17,577.4 m2 was put into operation earlier than the scheduled date.
Earlier, in November 2020, UMMC-Developer put into operation operation of a 30-storey building, which also belongs to the second stage; another building of the second stage with 25 floors with an area of 23 614 m2 with a large fitness club of an international brand, a full-size swimming pool and a supermarket will be commissioned in the first half of 2021.

Key delivery will begin soon, and there will be even more happy residents in Izumrudny Bor, ”noted Evgeny Mordovin, head of development projects at UGMK-Zastroyshchik. - All the current stages of construction, the first (18-storey building, commissioned in December 2019), the second and the third refer to the first quarter of the district, the area of which will be 9 hectares, taking into account the site for a kindergarten, and the volume of housing stock - 142,500 m2 ".
In addition, the company has recently received permits for the construction of residential buildings of the third stage (3.1 and 3.3). The peculiarity of these houses is that they have apartments with a beautiful view of the pine forest. The developer has provided warm balconies, baskets for air conditioners and 2 options for finishing apartments: white box and finishing. Apartments will be sold through escrow accounts, which guarantees the security of the transaction for the buyer. Apartments for purchase in these houses will open in the near future.
Recall that the residential area "Izumrudny Bor" is being built in the northern part of Yekaterinburg, around a unique ecological zone, the forest park "Pyshminskie Ozerki". It will include 13 blocks with a total area of 124.9 hectares. Of these, 40.7 hectares have been allocated for residential development (the volume of the housing stock is about 712 thousand m2). High transport accessibility of the district will be ensured by a high-speed tram line, which will run through the territory of the residential area "Izumrudny Bor" and will connect Yekaterinburg and Verkhnyaya Pyshma already in 2021.
One of the standards of UMMC-Developer is the creation of a full ecosystems for a comfortable life in every project. Therefore, in "Izumrudny Bor", all the necessary social, trade and entertainment infrastructure is being erected simultaneously with residential buildings. So, in the first quarter there will be a modern transformer school for 1,100 places, where the unique Yekaterinburg gymnasium Art-Etude will be located, a kindergarten for 300 places with nursery groups (its design has already been completed), a polyclinic, a fitness center with a swimming pool of 4 , 5 thousand m2. The first floors of residential buildings will house a business from the service sector: cafes, shops, pharmacies, etc. Also, a 6-storey overground parking lot for 300 cars with a sports ground on the roof will be built on the territory of the quarter. And very soon the shopping and entertainment center VEER Mall, which is located next to the district, will be commissioned.
