Investments of the Ural Mining and Metallurgical Company in the capital construction of PJSC Gaysky GOK (an enterprise of the UMMC raw materials complex) in 2021 will amount to about 6.3 billion rubles, which is almost 1 , 5 billion rubles more than last year. Of these, almost 4 billion are planned to be spent on the project "Increasing the productivity of an underground mine to 9 million tons of ore per year." Another large part of the funds - more than 2 billion rubles - will be spent on the purchase of various technological equipment.
“This year, employees of the Mine Construction Department of the Gaysky GOK will continue to mine, fasten, equip mine workings, build new crushing and conveyor dosing and loading complexes, to equip ore yards, deepening the inclined ramp, shafts of the "Operation", "Skipovaya", "Medium Ventilation" mines. Responsible work is to be done on the reconstruction of the Skipovaya mine hoisting machine building associated with the replacement of the skip hoisting machine "- said Yuri Dolmatov, Deputy Director of the Gaysky GOK for capital construction, repair and maintenance of fixed assets.
At the Concentration Plant (PF) after the completion of the reconstruction of the main redistributions, the work will be aimed at automating the technological control system. The next important object for the processing plant and the plant as a whole is the "Complex for the production of thickened tailings of the processing plant for the mining and technical reclamation of open pits No. 1-No. 3", which is undergoing commissioning. In order to improve the work of the concentrators, work will continue on the installation of aspiration equipment, supply and exhaust ventilation in the crushing department.
As part of the technical re-equipment at the Combined Heat and Power Plant, one of the main turbine units will be replaced. Here, work will also continue on the transfer of the CHP to a new backup fuel - diesel, last year the necessary examinations were carried out, project documentation was prepared, and one of the tanks was dismantled. This year, the CHPP boilers will have to replace the burners and dismantle the second tank.
In the future, the phased implementation of the strategic development program of PJSC Gaysky GOK will increase the productivity of the plant's underground mine to 9 million tons of ore per year , and the processing plant's capacity for ore processing is up to 10 million tons per year.
In total, in 2021, Gaysky GOK PJSC plans to mine more than 9.7 million tons of ore by underground and open pit mining.
