ARMZSkills 2021-a storehouse of young welding talents

On April 22, on the basis of the Shadrinsky Polytechnic College in the Kurgan Region, the IV divisional competition ARMZSkills-2021 of Rosatom State Corporation in the Welding Technologies competence was completed.

Competitive tests took place in the context of uranium mining and enrichment. To complete the tasks, the welders were provided with ESAB equipment that meets WorldSkills standards.

Participants and experts agreed that the most difficult module was the "kettle" - a pressure vessel that can be welded with all types of manual welding, in almost all spatial positions. It took each contestant several days to complete all the assembly and welding operations.

The winner of the competence for the fourth time was Vasily Dynenkov, an 8th grade electric and gas welder of PJSC PIMCU. The next jubilee ARMZSkills will be held at PJSC PIMCU, and the finalist team has already begun preparations for the AtomSkills-2021 industry championship, which will be held in August 2021 in Yekaterinburg.
