CZP to build a three-story administrative building for employees of the Waelz shop

The new administrative building at the Chelyabinsk Zinc Plant (an enterprise of the UMMC metallurgical complex) is designed for 300 workers and managerial personnel of the workshop. The total usable area of ​​all ABK premises will exceed 1.7 thousand square meters. The project takes into account sufficient areas of shower rooms, supply and exhaust ventilation of workwear boxes, comfortable offices and a meeting room for 45 people. Also, a locksmith's workshop will be equipped in the building. - When developing the design project of the new ABK, special attention was paid to improving the aesthetic design of the premises, - says the head of the Welz shop Oleg Belyakov. - Comfortable working conditions can significantly increase labor productivity, the quality of products, raise the prestige of production, serve as a characteristic of the well-being and prospects of the enterprise. The need for a new building arose in connection with the construction of a gas cleaning system for Waelz furnaces. The production facility required a site near the existing furnaces of the Waelz shop, where the ABK was located until recently. “The existing ABK is already obsolete,” said Vladimir Lovitsky, head of the capital construction department. - It does not comply with current regulations. Now the construction of the pile foundation is underway at the construction site, then the construction of frame monolithic reinforced concrete structures will begin. In the warm season, we plan to “close the perimeter” and bring in external networks. We will be able to carry out finishing work in autumn and winter. We plan to finish construction in March next year. In total, the enterprise will invest 133 million rubles in the creation of the new administrative complex.
