The meeting participants discussed plans for the development of LLC MMK-Lysva Metallurgical Plant for the coming years and the prospects for loading the enterprise with new orders from the industrialists of the Kama region. Viktor Rashnikov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC MMK, noted that the volume of purchases of the plant from enterprises of the Perm Territory in the period 2019-2020. amounted to 1.5 billion rubles, showing an upward trend. In January 2021, the Roadmap was signed on the work of the Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works in the industrial cooperation of the region. At present, MMK cooperates with such companies in the Kama region as Forsyth, Inversion-Sensor, Krasnokamsk repair and mechanical plant, Motovilikha-civil engineering and others, said Viktor Rashnikov.

In 2015, Lysva Metallurgical Plant MMK-LMZ has started to implement a special investment contract (SPIC) for the creation of a sheet-rolling complex for the industrial production of rolled steel with polymer coatings. The volume of investments in the SPIC was RUB 2.5 billion. Within the framework of a successfully implemented project, more than 400 new jobs have been created at the plant.

Dmitry Makhonin highly appreciated MMK's investment contribution to the development of Lysva and LMZ. “After LMZ joined MMK, the approach to the organization of the production process changed noticeably. Undoubtedly, this affects the volume of production, an increase in sales, and hence the creation of new jobs, an increase in wages. On the part of the regional authorities, we support this in every possible way, including with tax incentives, cheap loans through the IDF, ”the governor explained. within the framework of the regional industrial cooperation program, as well as preferential financial mechanisms, including loans from the Industrial Development Fund, priority investment projects and other measures to support local enterprises by the government of the Kama region.

Lysva Metallurgical Plant is a manufacturer of unique electrolytically galvanized steel and rolled products with polymer coatings based on it. In 2020, amid pandemic restrictions, MMK-LMZ managed to maintain production volumes at the 2019 level. The plans for the current year are to increase the volume of production by 20%, up to 319 thousand tons.
