Verkhnyaya Pyshma (Sverdlovsk region)
Traditional exhibition of the largest club of retro technology lovers in the Urals "Avtoretro" named after A. Volkov and A. Skorobogatykh this year will be held not in Yekaterinburg, but in the neighboring Verkhnyaya Pyshma. The UMMC Museum Complex offered its site for the club rally. The partnership project was born at the beginning of last week, and more than fifty car and motorcycle enthusiasts have already submitted applications for participation. The exhibition will take place on June 12 and will be dedicated to the Day of Russia.
“This year, not only the venue of the exhibition will change, but also its format. We are preparing a big festive program. Our partner will be the largest private museum complex in Russia. For spectators there is a convenient parking, for participants - a large and at the same time a cozy exhibition area, and most importantly - we are in the same retro theme with the automobile museum! ”, - says Alexander Myasnikov, chairman of the Avtoretro club.
The exhibition program includes contests for the best restoration, the best preservation and the rarest car or motorcycle. Participants will compete in figured driving of vintage cars, and children will take part in races on pedal vintage cars. The performance of the Sverdlovsk Retro Band, consisting of the Avtoretro club members, is expected. Everything will take place in the square in front of the four-story automobile museum. There is also an alley of flags of the Soviet republics and a copy of the famous sculpture "Worker and Kolkhoz Woman".
“It will be very interesting to work together with the largest automobile club of lovers of rare equipment. The list of participants is representative! Our car museum is also not a small one, and the place is, as they say, "prayed" - people come to us from afar to look at the unique collections of motor vehicles and vehicles. We are preparing a surprise for the guests - we will show you some rare, interesting cars. Ford T, known to many for filming in films, will exhibit. I am sure we will make this joint exhibition unforgettable! ", - shared his plans director of the Museum complex of the UMMC Victor Sevostyanov.
The Avtoretro club also promises to surprise the regular guests of the exhibition with rare cars that have not been exhibited before. This year, a large number of motor vehicles will be presented. Participants will demonstrate post-war scooters and motorbikes with a motor, and visitors will also be able to see an interesting collection of motorcycles produced by the Irbit Motorcycle Plant, which turns 80 this year.
Entrance to the exhibition will be free. In honor of the Day of Russia, white, red and blue retro cars will be built at the exhibition site in the form of an image of the Russian tricolor. And at the end of the holiday, paratroopers of the DOSAAF club parachute into the exhibition area with the flags of Russia.
