JSC Uralelectromed (an enterprise of the metallurgical complex of UMMC) has once again demonstrated the high quality of refined gold to international consumers of precious metals. According to the results of proactive monitoring, the company confirmed the international status of "Good Delivery".
According to the deputy director of JSC Uralelectromed for quality and work with precious metals, Alexei Batuev, gold bullion meets the international standard of the London Association of Precious Metals Market Participants ( LBMA).
- Based on the results of the work performed by the LBMA Physical Committee, the enterprise was awarded a certificate of a reliable supplier of gold, - he stressed.
According to the requirements of the LBMA, members of the association are required to confirm the status of recognized producers of gold and silver in ingots once every three years. Prior to the issuance of the certificate, the LBMA carried out work to verify the economic viability of the enterprise, the volume of gold bars produced over the past three years and the competence of the central laboratory - earlier the division received six encrypted gold samples and accurately determined its percentage.
According to the “Good” standard Delivery ”gold bars must be of a certain mass, chemical composition and corresponding geometric shape. On the surface must be indicated the brand of the manufacturer, the mass of the ingot, the serial number, the sample of the metal, the year of manufacture. The ingot must not have any physical damage or defects.
Let us remind you that in May 2006 Uralelectromed became the first metallurgical enterprise in Russia included in the Good Delivery list as a reliable producer of refined gold.
