At the processing plant of Buribaevsky GOK (an enterprise of the raw materials complex of UMMC), a set of equipment for control of the size of crushed ore produced by JSC NPO RIVS was put into operation.
The granulometer is installed on conveyor No. 4 of Buribaevsky GOK to control the size of the finished product of fine crushing at the required controlled size class of +20 mm. The complex includes: a crushed product size control unit, a conveyor belt speed control device and a multifunctional control cabinet. The information is displayed in digital and graphical form on the operator panel, and also transmitted in digital form to the APCS for the possibility of automatic regulation of the discharge gap of the crushing equipment.
During the commissioning period, the system's performance was tested on several grades of ore, subject to crushing in different ways. At each control sampling, the measurements of the system converged with laboratory sieves within 2-3%.
As explained by the chief concentrator of Buribaevsky GOK JSC Rishat Fazylov: “Today the volume of ore processing at the enterprise is 410 thousand tons per year, and any delay in this process affects the implementation of the planned targets. The introduction of a complex of equipment for control of the size of crushed ore produced by JSC NPO RIVS will allow achieving increased processing, the required quality of grinding, an increase in the qualitative and quantitative indicators of concentration, the efficiency of the crushing department. programmer of the department of new equipment and programming of JSC NPO RIVS, noted: “Based on the experience of implementing similar systems at other enterprises, control of the size of crushed ore has many advantages. Due to this budgetary and ergonomic system, ore processing can be increased, the circulation of material in the grinding - classification circuits is reduced, and the efficiency of grinding equipment can be increased. The influence on the accuracy of the results of such factors as dustiness, illumination, variable speed of the conveyor belt is leveled. The crushed ore size control complex can be integrated into the process control system of the process section and used for operational control of the crushing equipment operation, including in automatic mode.
