That is why modular hydraulics is widely used, which makes it possible to assemble control units from individual components without a complex system of connecting pipelines. One of the most common variants of such equipment is the electromagnetic spool valves of the VE series.
Depending on the required flow rate of the working fluid and the parameters of the hydraulic system, various versions can be selected. For example, hydraulic valves VE 6 are designed for systems with a nominal passage of 6 mm and can be used in machine tools, presses, lifting mechanisms and other industrial equipment.
Features of modular hydraulic valves
The main task of the hydraulic distributor is to control the flow direction of the working fluid. When an electrical signal is applied to the electromagnet, the spool moves, thereby changing the connection of the internal channels. Depending on the specific distribution scheme, it is possible to arrange the oil supply to the hydraulic cylinder or hydraulic motor, stop the actuator or return it.
The modular design allows the distributors to be installed directly on the mounting plates. This simplifies the assembly of the hydraulic unit and makes maintenance of the equipment more convenient. In addition, additional valves can be installed between the plate and the distributor, which makes it possible to form quite complex hydraulic circuits.
VE 6 and VE 10 series: how to choose the appropriate option
When choosing equipment, it is necessary to take into account the conditional passage, the maximum flow rate, the operating pressure, the number of spool positions, the type of return and the characteristics of the electromagnets. For example, hydraulic valves BE 10 are used for more productive hydraulic systems. Modular installation of the CETOP 5 standard is provided for this series, and the design allows combining several distributors into a single unit.
According to the published technical data, the maximum flow rate for the VE 6 series can reach 80 l/min, while for the VE 10 — up to 100 l/min. At the same time, the operating pressure in the main channels can be up to 32 MPa. The specific values depend on the execution and the chosen distribution scheme.
