For over two years, the administration trump blocked new appointments to the Supreme organ of the WTO, which rules on trade disputes, as has expired term of office of the existing judges, and that means that after December 10 had too few members to deal with new cases.

Judge of the world trade organization (WTO) will take a decision on the three pending appeals, on which hearings were held - despite the collapse of the Appellate body in earlier this week - said the representative of the WTO on Thursday.

One of the cases that the WTO will continue to consider principally the format will be the complaint of Ukraine against Russia's measures to limit imports of railway equipment.

In 2015 Ukraine has considered a number of measures Russia has led to the restriction of imports into this country of railway equipment and its parts from Ukraine. Considering the dispute for almost three years, the panel of the WTO in 2018 has denied Ukraine the most part of its requirements, recognizing the validity of the relevant actions of Russia. However, the debate still continues as Ukraine has filed an appeal.

According to the representative of the WTO, two judges, whose term of office expired on Tuesday, Thomas Graham and Ujal Singh Bhatia, sent a letter to the New Zealand Ambassador David Walker, the Chairman of the dispute settlement body (DSB), outlining the plan. The term Hong Zhao, the third remaining judge will expire in November 2020.

Fate of the Supreme court of the WTO was effectively decided on Monday after the United States said they would not support the proposal for its continuation, said the Ministry of Commerce, although the head of the WTO Roberto Azevedo vowed to find a solution.

Earlier today, at the European Commission Savilethat will make amendments to European legislation that will adequately respond to American attacks without involving the WTO.
