The Delegation of the Russian Federation, on July 5, 2019, invited the United States delegation to the Dispute Settlement Body in accordance with Article 4.4 of the Dispute Settlement Document of the World Trade Organization (WTO).
Russia has filed a complaint with the World Trade Organization to challenge US anti-dumping measures to import high quality hot rolled carbon steel flat products from Russia, according to a statement posted on the WTO website on Tuesday.
The Russian complaint contained eight separate US statements from 1999 to February 2019, which Russia said violated WTO rules. The United States has 60 days to resolve the dispute. After this period, Russia may ask the WTO for a decision.
