China unveiled a plan to further improve the market-oriented green technology innovation system to unleash the innovative vitality.
Plan jointly published by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China , aims to strengthen the leading role of enterprises in innovation, improve the market mechanism for the transformation and application of green technologies, and create an environment in which all types of innovators can flourish with enhanced and more effective cooperation between enterprises, universities and research institutions.
According to the plan, China's green technology innovation market system will be improved by 2025, which will provide stronger support for green technology innovation for the country's green and low-carbon development.
A number of basic, original and revolutionary innovations in the field and the green technology trading market will become more standardized and streamlined.
The plan also emphasizes streamlining green technology valuation methods, strengthening fiscal and financial support, and protecting intellectual property rights for green technology development, and expanding international cooperation and exchanges in this area.
