At the end of 2024, the Ukrainian industrial company Interpipe has completed the implementation of a large contract for shipment of 10,000 railway wheels for the Indian RailWays Indian Enterprise, operating throughout the India railway network.
An annual contract provided for the supply of typical cargo wheels with a diameter of 1000 mm for gondola cars and covered wagons such as Boxn Wagon.
Logistics became a separate challenge. Most of the wheels were shipped through the seaports of Europe, while the last parties from Ukrainian ports. The crisis of navigation in the Red Sea led to an increase in transit time to India, since the new rebuilt route assumed the envelope of Africa. However, all volumes of products were delivered to the client on time

- The company has been a reliable partner of Indian railways for more than 25 years. This large order for a year for a year was the first since the invasion of Russian troops in Ukraine occurred, so it was extremely important for us to fulfill it successfully and ahead of schedule. In January, we received the following order from Indian Railways, but in general in 2025 we plan to double the volume of shipping vehicles to the India railway operator.
