Indian metallurgists move to 100% quality control of steel

Thus, the country can become one of the leading places in the production of high-quality steel. India's Ferrous Metallurgy Minister Chaudhary Birender Singh said that steel mills are moving to a 100% quality control regime. He added that Indian steelmakers are aware of the challenges faced by consumers and suppliers. Therefore, the solution is designed for the long term.

Steel is used in critical industries that require special attention to the quality of materials. It is the basis for safety and a guarantee of the safety of people's health for many areas, in particular for the creation of infrastructure.

The Indian minister said that the economy of his country is already the sixth largest in the world, but he is not going to stop there and plans to continue to apply the advanced rates of its development.

He also added that India has a goal of becoming an economy with a GDP of 10 trillion US dollars in the near future. Therefore, the metallurgists of this country set themselves ambitious goals for steel production to reach 300 million tons by 2030-2031. And we intend to confidently move towards this task, while simultaneously reducing the intensity of carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere during its production.
