Car sales in China rose 27.4% year-on-year and 4.1% month-on-month in November 2023 to reach 2.97 million units, data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers (CAAM) showed on Monday.
According to the above-mentioned association, the country's automobile production amounted to 3.09 million units last month, an increase of 29.4% compared to the same month last year and 7% compared to October 2023
The association's report said the auto market's performance exceeded expectations in November, when monthly vehicle production hit a record high and sales reached nearly 3 million units.
