According to a survey published by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) on Friday, 78% of German companies feel the negative impact of the Ukrainian crisis.
60% of companies surveyed reported price increases or supply chain disruptions, 18% of companies said they were directly affected by the loss of customers or suppliers. The survey was conducted among 3,700 companies.
Across all industries, nine out of 10 companies said that rising energy prices had a noticeable impact on their operations.
“This effect is fully spreading across the entire economy,”" said DIHK Executive Director Martin Wansleben.
Two-thirds of the companies surveyed said they had responded to the pressure by raising prices for customers.
