According to Fabrizio Di Gianni, a partner at the law firm Van Bael & Bellis, which regulates EU legal activities, the details of the "melting and casting" rule in the European Commission's Action Plan for Steel Production will become clearer by September 2025.
Speaking at the Eurometal Steel Day and the 10th YISAD Conference on Sheet Steel in Istanbul on Tuesday, April 8, Di Gianni elaborated on the recent regulations introduced by the European Commission.
