Schoeller pipe manufacturer resumes work at power plants

German pipe manufacturer Schoeller Gruppe is returning to the power plant manufacturing business after a five-year hiatus and has held its first talks in China and South Korea, according toKallanishhears.

The decision to resume pipe supplies to the power plant segment was made due to geopolitical changes, improved quality and stability of technological processes, as well as favorable conditions among suppliers of materials, says the manufacturer of welded stainless pipes.

To actively engage with key markets, members of the sales team traveled to China and Korea to establish and strengthen business relationships, as well as gain a deeper understanding of market trends and current projects.

Over the course of two weeks, meetings were organized with leading Chinese companies in the field of energy and infrastructure, as well as in Korea specializing in the construction of power plants, marine solutions and heat exchangers. The company notes that one meeting in China led to a specific and promising request.

"The "Made in Germany" label and the Schoeller brand enjoy a good reputation in our target market", - says manager Bernd Jansen. "In cases where projects go through international tenders and Chinese suppliers are excluded from consideration, we have equal conditions, which gives us a strong competitive advantage", - he notes.
