Vice President of EUROMETAL Fernando Espada participated yesterday as a speaker in a webinar on the final stage of the Carbon dioxide Emissions Control Mechanism (CBAM), organized by UAHE, the Almacenist Union of Yerros of Spain.
The webinar brought together about 60 participants from the Spanish steel distribution sector, who had the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the CBAM mechanism, its operation and implications for steel importers and processing operators. The session provided an overview of how this mechanism works, how CBAM costs are calculated, and how the system is expected to evolve over time.
EUROMETAL would like to thank Fernando Espada for his time and UAHE for inviting and organizing this timely and informative event.
