British Airways plans to cut up to 12,000 jobs from the 42,000 total headcount because of the collapse of the business against the background of the pandemic coronavirus. According to state news Agency UK BBC, the founder of the British Airways company IAG said that it needed to introduce a "programme of restructuring and redundancy" as long as the demand for air travel will not reach the level of 2019.
