Steel production in Ukraine in January-April 2026 amounted to 2.25 million tons, which is 7.4% less than in the same period last year. Such data is provided by the association of enterprises "Ukrmetallurgprom".
In 4 months of this year, Ukrainian metallurgical enterprises produced 2.36 million tons of pig iron (-0.3% year-on-year). The production of rolled products in January-April fell by 9.1% YoY, amounting to 1.8 million tons.
Separately, in April, steel production amounted to 517.3 thousand tons. Tons (-25.3% year–on-year), cast iron - 554 thousand tons. Tons (-16.1% YoY), rolled products – 460.8 thousand. Tons (-15.8% year-on-year).
