China's iron ore imports showed steady growth during the first seven months of 2023, the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China said.
China imported a total of 669 million tons of iron ore during the period, according to the agency. , which is 6.9% more than the same period last year.
From January to July, the average price of iron ore imported into the country was 785.6 yuan (about 109.77 US dollars) per ton, down 5.1% year-on-year.
