the Initiative of CIIE was born in the forum of international cooperation "One belt and one road" in Beijing in may 2017, when President XI Jinping proposed in 2018 to conduct regular international exhibition of imported goods in Shanghai. The organizers of the exhibition in 2019 are the Ministry of Commerce of China and people's government of Shanghai.
CIIE Second exhibition opened on Tuesday in Shanghai and will last until Sunday.
"the Problem of globalization is the question of human survival and development of each country. For us it is very important that such a huge country as China, was one of the leaders in the promotion of globalization and cooperation between countries," said Gennadiy Chizhikov.
According to Chizhikova, China has long been committed to the idea of globalization and the initiative of "One belt and one road" proposed by President XI Jinping, is increasingly valued and welcomed by different countries.
According to him, the establishment of the transit zone and community with a common future for humanity will contribute to the economic globalization.
"Ukraine is one of those countries that understand the importance and significance of the initiative, which is designed not to divide but to bring the countries together. Ukraine supports this because it is important for us to be part of the global system," - said Chizhikov.
with regard to the proposals made by the si to economic globalization in CIIE, Chizhikov called them all extremely important.
"Ukraine is located at a distance of about 6000 km from China, but we see that distance is not an obstacle to economic cooperation. More recently, China has become our major economic partner after the European Union", - said the representative of Ukraine.
"Today's exhibition is unique because all exhibitions for sale, and China holds the world's largest exhibition for the purchase of goods from around the world. This suggests that China is a leader, leading by example transparency", he added.
In 2019 in CIIE will participate in a total of 155 countries and regions and 26 international organizations.
In 2018, the cost share of Chinese goods in the Ukrainian import increased from 11% to 34%, surpassing the same figure for Europe and Russia. In the first half of 2019, the trade turnover between Ukraine and China has reached a historical high, reaching 11 billion US dollars.
