In the night from 22 to 23 December, the electricity has been turned off on all 6 mines of SE "lvovugol". Dead lifts, drainages, main fans. On all 6 mines lost control of the mine atmosphere, there is flooding.
"Disabling the mines of SE "lvovugol" of electricity occurred because of in advance impossible demands on the part of "provider of last resort" the regional power supply network to pay for the advance payment of 22 million hryvnias for the electric power for the period December 2019 - January 2020." – said the head of the independent trade Union of miners of Ukraine (npgu) Mikhail Volynets.
npgu addressed a telegram to the President, the Prime Minister on urgent measures for emergency response, artificially created by officials of the situation, said M. Volynets.
According to the representative of the Union, the miners are not able to fulfil the requirements of utility companies due to the lack of funds accumulated in front of him the debt not only for salary but also for the delivered coal.
"Only PJSC Centrenergo owed the miners lvovugol 92 million UAH, without paying a penny for coal shipped in October, November, December", - said M. Volynets.
