the Swiss mining company with assets in Ukraine Ferrexpo plc reported a record level of production of pellets in April 2020. As stated in statement the company, YTD pellet production in 2020 from own ore increased by 8.8% to 3.8 million tons compared to 3.5 million tons in the same period of 2019.
the Volume of production of pellets from own ore in April 2020 amounted to 1.06 million tons.
Since the beginning of the year sales to Ferrexpo in 2020 increased by 28% to 4.1 million tons compared to 3.2 million tonnes in the same period of 2019.
Annual meeting of shareholders of Ferrexpo approved in halving the final dividend at the end of 2019 compared with 2018 in the amount of 3.3 cents per share (in 2018, 6.6 cents).
At the meeting the shareholders voted for the election of members of the Board of Directors of Graham Dacombe (Graeme Dacomb) and Macola Fiona (Fiona MacAulay). Also was re-elected Board members Kris MoE (Chris Mawe), Lucio Genovese (Lucio Genovese), Konstantin Zhevago (voted 67,59% shareholders).
